We’ll also dig into Ryan’s new investment fund, his lens on the world, and where he sees the landscape moving towards. The discussion will conclude with a Q&A opportunity.
Why Ryan supports charity:water
Although he’s known most notably for the tweet (“Here’s a tip. email me:)”) that lead to a storied 9 year career leading Uber’s operations, Ryan Graves has also dedicated much of his life to supporting amazing charitable causes.
Ryan Graves has been a board member of charity: water for the past 3 years but his support for the cause started in 2015 - with the birth of his first son Hudson Graves. Ryan, his wife Molly, and their son Hudson first supported charity: water in 2015 in order to imprint giving in the family’s DNA, and continues to do today.
They were moved after learning about the incredible impact a lack of basic resources like clean water can have on a family. Since then, they’ve continued to support charity: water both with their resources but more importantly their time.
